Squadra Coppi is proud to give back to the sport of cycling.

Phoenix Bikes has supported local youth in the DC Metro area since 2007 by providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment that reinforces teamwork, hard work, and entrepreneurship through bike maintenance education programs. Since launch, Phoenix Bikes has engaged over 1,200 youths, with nearly 500 earning their own bikes (so far).

Local youth are invited to participate in bike refurbishment and retail operations as they contribute to the daily operations of the Phoenix Bikes shop in Barcroft Park, located in South Arlington, VA, leaving with tangible mechanic and business management skills as well as scores of other success skills for life. Squadra Coppi riders also host weekly rides with youth rider from Phoenix Bikes, sharing their knowledge and passion for the sport of cycling. Learn how to donate your time or equipment here.

WIAN Cycling Community is a grassroots cycling group started by Columbian professional riders to help young racers in Columbia grow and mature to the highest levels of the sport. Squadra Coppi has enjoyed a 10+ year partnership with WIAN and is involved directly in-country. We donate proceedings from our two races and used equipment including kits, components, helmets and even full bicycles to this incredibly worthy cause..
